Allow Me To Introduce You To My Taste buds

I've always been lucky in that my parents cooked and made me eat the foods at which most kids turned up their noses. Yes, I say lucky, even though I suffered through mounds of green peas, because I learned that different people like different things. That made me curious. And, that curiosity is what has brought me here.

Our family has its traditions--weekly and for holidays. For example, Fridays were always "Round Food Fridays." Although, it normally meant to me and my brother that we could have pizza or hamburgers, that was not always the case.

So, I am thankful for my dad introducing me to sushi at a young age; my mother making crab and spinach dips before they were popular, my grandmother's dietary restrictions, and more.

I intend to use this space to pay homage to that past, but also to explore foods I try as I travel and those that I make at home with and for my family and friends.

P.S. Forgive me if I start with older food pictures... I just want to get all of it.
